Migration guide

From Wati to Omra

Wati is WABA-strong but WABA-only. Omra is a multi-channel inbox covering WhatsApp (WABA + non-WABA), Telegram, Instagram (personal + business), SMS and Avito, plus real AI agents with Python tools.

Cost of Wati's WABA-only solution:
Wati $1788
  • • $149/mo Pro plan = $1,788
  • • WhatsApp Business API only
  • • + Meta tariffs per message on top
  • • KnowBot RAG limited to documents
Omra 2026
  • • Starter plan — TBD
  • • WA + TG + IG + SMS + Avito included
  • • AI Pilot + Custom Python tools

Not WhatsApp only

Wati is a niche WABA product. If your customers also write on Telegram, Instagram, SMS or Avito — you end up with a second inbox. Here everything is one place, leads and history shared.

Python tools instead of webhooks

Wati automation goes through webhooks + n8n/Zapier. Here you write your own Python tool and the AI agent executes it — orders of magnitude more flexible.

Non-WABA option

Wati is WABA-mandatory: number verification, Meta tariffs per message, 24h customer-service window. We support non-WABA via neonize for micro-SMBs whose WABA economics don't pencil out.

FAQ

Can I use the same WABA number?
Yes. Just switch the provider in Meta Business Manager (Wati → us). No rebranding for customers, no downtime.
What about template messages?
Templates live on Meta's side, not Wati's — they transfer automatically when the provider switches.
Are you also WABA-only?
No. WABA is one channel alongside non-WABA WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, SMS and Avito. You can mix them.
